Bringing familiar, casual gameplay to Web3
Our goal with the Alpha release of Infinite Beyond is threefold; to test the stickiness of the game concept, build bridges to hundreds of different compatible NFT collections on Ethereum, and improve the quality of the game directly alongside our community.
Since the release, we've been hitting the limits of possibilities — from server crashes due to high spikes in concurrent gameplay, to fun weekend tournaments where we come together and PVP. We're extremely proud of what we've all built together so far...
By the numbers
Since the launch, the retention levels have shown to be extremely high, and the 'proof of concept' around $STARDUST showed that there is real potential for high quality token sink and burn mechanics. 10 million tokens burned through speed ups, item shop sales, Battle Passes, and more.
We've seen the batch of Alpha Testers launched over 125,000 passive Mining missions (c/o Galactic Apes), and over 50,000 Base Raids against one another. A staggering achievement.
We imagine a time where there are tens of thousands of DAUs pushing those numbers into the millions of concurrent missions undertaken each month. We will get there.
Building relationships
From the beginning of our planning, our goal was to ensure that as many NFT collectors were given gaming utility. Since then, we've indexed over 1 million compatible NFTs to be used in your army. A comprehensive list of compatible, partnered projects can be found here.
The Future
We have begun the active development of Version 2 of the game — which will move us into the Alpha phase of our development. Stay tuned on Twitter for more information.
